The President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj arrived in Choibalsan city, Dornod Aimag for a working tour from April 24 to 25. After arriving in Choibalsan, the President Elbegdorj hosted meeting with citizens of Dornod Aimag at the Musical Theatre. At the meeting, President Elbegdorj introduced the implementation of the action plan 2009-2017, during his tenure as the President of Mongolia.
Foreign Relations Policy Advisor L.Purevsuren, Human Development and Social Policy Advisor R.Bold, and Human Rights and Legal Policy Advisor Ch.Unurbayar delivered respective presentation on the implementation of the President’s action plan during the past eight years.
After, ceremony of award for Dornod Aimag with the Order of Sukhbaatar was held. Before the ceremony, flags of Dornod Aimag and its Soums were placed at the stage of the theatre.
At the ceremony, President Elbegdorj officially presented the Order and congratulated citizens of Dornod Aimag. Seventy four years ago, Dornod Aimag was awarded with the Order of Labor Merit. From now on, Dornod Aimag is named as Dornod Aimag with the Order of Sukhbaatar.
On the sidelines of the trip, President Elbegdorj will hold meeting with journalists of local television channels and newspapers. Journalists from Dornod Aimag, Sukhbaatar Aimag, Khentii Aimag, Umnugovi Aimag, Dornogovi Aimag, and Govisumber Aimag are covering the President’s trip to Dornod Aimag.
