Project to save and protect Red Fort Dust Bumbagar memorial or Ancient Turkic noble tomb which was found in Bayannuur soum of Bulgan aimag is being implemented by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Turkish side.

The tomb was opened in 2011 and molds grew at some parts of the wall and 1300 year-old paintings at the ground started to fade. Therefore, protection should have been started immediately. Currently, jewelry, rare sculpture and ancient coins are being stored in the Museum of Kharkhorin and the exhibits were brought to Ulaanbaatar and are being exhibited at National History Museum.

Researchers discovered ten more tombs nearby Red Fort Dust Bumbagar memorial. Due to the close locations of tombs to tourism area including Kharkhorin and Lake Ugii, there is opportunity to develop them as tourism complex. In other words, we are able to commercialize archaeological findings, which are considered as endangered in the world.
